The Phil Wood outboard bottom bracket uses stainless steel cups, for the most durable, long-lasting outboard bottom bracket experience. Installing with the standard OBB tool, and with fully replaceable bearings and dust covers, the outboard bottom bracket is compatible with Shimano and FSA cranks. (At this time, SRAM, Truvativ and Campagnolo cranks are not currently compatible. The Truvativ and SRAM cranks use two different bearing sizes and are only compatible with their own OBBs. Campagnolo uses a bearing on their crankset that interferes with our bottom bracket.)
It is available in British, French, Italian, Swiss, Raleigh Super Corsa, and Chater Lea threadings, as well as a press-fit offering which will work with a 35mm ID bottom bracket shell.
