Philcentric Outboard Bottom Bracket Cups

The Philcentric is an Outboard Bottom Bracket that gives you eccentricity without using horizontal dropouts, an eccentric hub, or chain tensioners. *You may be required to use a half link.

We manufacture Philcentric Outboard Bottom Bracket Cups for integrated spindle and crank systems. These cups are available in the following thread specifications: British 1.370 x 24 tpi and Italian 36mm x 24 tpi.

Truvativ and SRAM cranks use a unique bearing on the non-drive side. We have manufactured an adaptor that enables one to use a standard Philcentric cup with Truvativ and SRAM cranks. At this time Campagnolo cranks are not currently compatible. Campagnolo uses a center bearing on their crankset that interferes with our bottom bracket.

All Philcentric outboard bottom brackets cups require the Phil Wood Philcentric installation tool. (Please Note: This tool is only available to shops)
